Honoring Our Heroes on Veterans Day
Veterans Day is a time for us to honor the men and women who have courageously served in the United States Armed Forces to ensure that each and every one of us can continue to live free. Thankful for this service, Excel Dryer gives back by supporting the veteran-based nonprofit, Soldier On, and remains committed to manufacturing the highest-quality products right here on American soil.
Showing Our Support for Soldier On
First recognized as Armistice Day to mark the end of World War 1, November 11 later became a day to honor American veterans of all wars. We believe the perfect way to recognize this service is to ensure all veterans have a solid foundation when they return home. To this end, we have partnered with Soldier On, a nonprofit dedicated to ending veteran homelessness, to help raise awareness and funding for veterans.
Since 1994, Soldier On has been changing the end of the story for homeless veterans. In addition to transitional housing and supportive services, Soldier On provides formerly homeless veterans with safe, sustainable and affordable housing to help them transition from homelessness to homeownership. Not only does Solider On offer shelter, but they provide dignity, integrity and hope to those who deserve it most.
Made in the USA
In addition to offering direct support through Soldier On, Excel Dryer works to keep valued jobs on American soil with our Made in USA Certification®. For a product to become Made in USA Certified, it must meet specific criteria and prove to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) exactly where the labor, parts and assembly take place. Excel Dryer manufactures all of its XLERATOR® Hand Dryers in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, employs about 50 people and is the only hand dryer manufacturer to achieve Made in USA Certification for its line of products.
Other companies may try to market their products as made in the United States but still source parts from overseas. With Excel Dryer, you can have confidence in the product you’re buying and confidence in the fact that it’s American made.
