2022 Olympics: Support American Manufacturing and American Athletes

The highly anticipated international multi-sport event will be held from February 4–20 in Beijing, China. From figure skating to ice hockey to bobsledding to curling, we’re proud to show our support for all our American athletes. Not Made in the USA? Keep Off the Ice
Other companies may try to market their products as made in the United States but may still source parts from overseas. Not us. Our Made in USA Certified® seal is a country of origin label which guarantees that products, such as XLERATOR® Hand Dryers, are, in fact, made in the United States. For a product to become Made in USA Certified, it must meet specific criteria and prove to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) exactly where the labor, parts and assembly take place. Based in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, Excel Dryer is the only hand dryer manufacturer to achieve Made in USA certification for its line of products. Not only that, but we previously won a dispute with the International Trade Commission (ITC) to keep knockoff products off the ice and in the penalty box where they belong. That’s what we call a power play.
Keep It Clean and Follow the Rules
When it comes to ensuring an environmentally friendly product, we’re skating laps around the competition. Back in 2016, alongside UL Environment (a business division of Underwriters’ Laboratories), we initiated the first-ever global Product Category Rule (PCR), which created a set of rules, requirements and guidelines for the hand dryer industry. PCRs make it easier to consistently evaluate products’ environmental impacts, to ensure companies are going for the gold when deciding to go green.

That’s because we don’t make claims we can’t support. We were the first hand dryer manufacturer in the industry to publish independently verified Health Product Declarations (HPDs) and third-party verified Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).
